Using Paint Chips

I found a great post on using paint chips:

from Chica and Jo

So, on my errands today I stopped by Home Depot and Lowes.  Here's what I brought home:

In one big pile:

So, I may have gone overboard this time.  I guess I'll just have to spend lots of time coming up with fun ways to use them all!

I confess that I haven't actually made anything with them yet.  I was too excited about just getting them and didn't want to wait to post this.

If you're interested in crafting with paint chips, a list of ideas for inspiration can be found here.

Credit also goes to Miki who had a great post on things to send to your pen pals.  Sadly, I didn't find any of the Mickey Mouse paint chips this time.  I'll keep my eye out though!

I'm off to start crafting!

  2. I find the Mickey Mouse ones at Lowe's usually. :-) You should totally make something! I made a little booklet back in February but they're great for anything, especially since they're free! PS - I go really overboard every time I get paint chips so don't feel bad.

  3. Hi Anne! I just checked out your blog after reading you letter, and was so excited to see this post! I am currently painting both of my sons' rooms, so I have been passing those paint chips and imagining how I could turn them into mail art! Will have to look at the links you posted! (and just sent some snail mail back your way!)
