Terrariums

Technically this isn't a post about mail or letters or office supplies, but I was inspired to post this after looking at nature in the mail.  



I love terrariums.

I've been thinking about getting one for my office at work.  I already have a few plants on my bookshelves, but if I get a small-ish terrarium I could have it sitting on my desk next to my computer.  It's nice to see something green next to all of the black plastic of my keyboard and mouse.

Recycled Paper Pencils

Happy Friday!

I stumbled on these pencils from Poketo on the blog of paper and things.

They have really neat paper on them...

At home I have baskets made out of old newspaper.  It's fun to wonder where the paper went in its former life. 

They also sell pencils made of reclaimed branches.  I want to learn how to make these!  Cool, right?

I live in Pennsylvania where "fracking" (hydraulic fracturing) in the Marcellus Shale is a big issue, so these cards caught my eye.
